Wide Horizons holiday park

We know you'll have a fantastic time at Wide Horizons, next door to the Georgian harbour town of Aberearon, and overlooking the Irish sea of Cardigan bay,

But don't just take our word for it, look what our past holiday makers have to say about this park.

Aberaeron town

By Mr D Morrison staying at Wide Horizons holiday park
Submitted on 15 April 2009

Our caravan was lovely, couldn't fault it at all. Site was a lot smaller than any we have ever been to before and was quieter but I guess that was because of the time of year. The beach which was on our doorstep was beautiful.

We enjoyed a fabulous day out at Aberaeron town which is on the doorstep to the park, my youngest especially enjoyed the home made honey ice-cream at the Hive.

Really nice views

By Miss J Evans staying at Wide Horizons holiday park
Submitted on 25 October 2009

After a long journey from the West Midlands and very heavy rainfall we finally arrived at Wide Horizons. We went to collect our keys from the pub on site and we had a very warm welcome from  the bar manager and his wife.

We had a couple of drinks then decided to retire for the night. When I got up in the morning I threw back the curtains to see how far away we were from the sea, we could hear it the night before but being dark could not see, the views were really nice.

Regatta in the bay

By Mrs S Jenkins staying at Wide Horizons holiday park
Submitted on 14 September 2009

What a great holiday we had 2 families in 2 caravans both with great sea views. One morning we woke to see a vast amount of yachts in the sea below the holiday park, we were told this was the regatta that’s held each year in this area, we later went down to the town of Aberaeron and enjoyed a drink in the harbour master bar and restaurant,

We all got a little merry but didn’t make too much of fools of ourselves, we will defiantly be coming again this time so we don’t miss this event.

We loved the dolphins

By Mrs T Williams staying at Wide Horizons holiday park
Submitted on 02 July 2009

We went along to New Quay which is only 5 miles from the holiday park, and regularly saw seals and dolphins, on one occasion there was a pod of dolphins swimming across the bay all morning, our little girl was so excited, it really made her holiday.

We had even taken the dog with us! We definitely would recommend the site!

Our Holiday

By Mr C Johnson staying at Wide Horizons holiday park
Submitted on 04 June 2009

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Wide Horizons, as usual. So much so we are going back in September. The park is very clean, well maintained, and the ground staff are amazing.

The site is very safe for children and all the staff are very friendly and genuine, I would recommend this site to anyone, young or old and we can’t wait to go back. Chris.
