Aberaeron town

By Mr D Morrison staying at Wide Horizons holiday park
Submitted on 15 April 2009

Our caravan was lovely, couldn't fault it at all. Site was a lot smaller than any we have ever been to before and was quieter but I guess that was because of the time of year. The beach which was on our doorstep was beautiful.

We enjoyed a fabulous day out at Aberaeron town which is on the doorstep to the park, my youngest especially enjoyed the home made honey ice-cream at the Hive.

Our holiday

This is our second time back this year at Pilbach Holiday Park. Our caravan was really clean, no sign of dogs being in it before us with our dog. Decided to have a meal in the bar this time and it was first class.

Hubby decided on steak, which was very tender and well cooked, also took advantage of the full English on the day of our departure which again was excellent. Can’t wait to return next year!

Close to beach

I just returned from a 7 day break at this park. Our caravan was right next to the outdoor heated pool, and the kids loved all the splashing around. The little play area they have for the small kiddies was especially nice as it kept our little one contented.

We visited Cardigan Island (about 6 miles from the park), and this was a great day out. This is the second Barkers Leisure Park we have visited, we were at Aberdwylan last year.

This park is great for kids, we saw many kids cycling quite happily round the park. Great time had by all.

Mum such a laugh

By Miss A Bishop staying at Pilbach holiday park
Submitted on 27 July 2009

I had a week’s holiday in July, I am only 11 and I enjoyed every bit of it! I made new friends, watched my mum on the karaoke, she was really funny. I met people who were at my school and the view from the caravan was amazing.

We saw seals at the beach and it was sunny with lots to do. I went horse riding, played at the park and the beach with my friends - it was sunny until the last day when there was thunder and lightning. So I would love to go back there again.

Amazing

By Mrs P Thomas staying at Pilbach holiday park
Submitted on 16 August 2009

It was a brilliant holiday; we have 2 young kids who enjoyed every minute of their holiday my 8 year old loved the swimming pool with her dad.

What more could we have asked for? Not a lot – for a small family park its very well run with lots to do for all the family.

I have raved about this holiday to all my friends and will continue to do so. It was so good that we are off to stay in their Wide Horizons Holiday Park this week and can’t wait. We are even taking the in-laws!
